Email / Spam Policy

The Unsolicited Commercial Electronic Mail Act, passed by Congress, requires all unsolicited commercial email to carry a valid return address that would allow the email receivers to unsubscribe. Those who do not conform to the UCEMA rules could be sued for $500 per message, up to $50,000 total, by ISPs and state attorneys general.

Spamming and the sending of unsolicited email and bulk email by any individual or organization is against the law. The sending of unsolicited email advertising messages to any email addresses at Wordpix.com will result in the imposition of civil liability against you in accordance with current regulations. Except for important announcements or customer communications, Wordpix will never send unsolicited email messages.

We request our customers to avoid sending unsolicited emails and bulk emails from their own computers, to avoid breaking civil regulations and to keep their email addresses (and the Wordpix servers) from being blocked by service providers. We advise that you sign up with a third party service such as MailChimp, establish a free (or paid) account, upload your email list and use their templates to send your messages. Constant Contact is another good service.
